No Distinctions

God is Impartial (v. 1-7)

God does not play favorites (Acts 10:9-16, 28, 34-35)

God executes with Justice (Deuteronomy 10:12-13, 16-18; Romans 2:9-13)

Judges with Evil Motives (John 7:24)

God chooses (Deuteronomy 7:7-8; Matthew 5:3)

The Law is Impartial (v. 8-11)

The Royal Law (Levticus 19:18; Matthew 22:36-40)

God’s Law Requires Perfection (Matthew 5:21-22; Romans 3:23; 8:1-4)

We Must be Impartial (v. 12-13)

God and His Law are impartial, we must be too (Luke 10:30-37; James 1:27)

We must not show favoritism (Luke 6:36-38; Matthew 18:32-35)

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7
